Treewave virtual 10"

A shoegazing Daydream Nation-era Sonic Youth playing the slowest house party ever at early 90’s 4AD offices (track up on our home page, so check it out!).

Treewave started out using a 2600/i286/dot matrix printer set-up, but I think I read sometime that they were going to branch out from solely using early 80’s computer gear, and this might be the result. Considering Paul Slocum wrote Pi House Generator, I’m picking a machine ear approach here also (at least as source material). It’s all ever so slightly strange, like an EP of favourite bits from underground hits (85 – 95) compiled by software.

With many overlapping elements but it works: Treewave virtual 10″

Bonus: Suspicions confirmed, kinda
