Teen Sheikhs are part of that family of London bro’s who seem to have an instant predisposition to high fiving each other (I think // hope) and having really good times singing songs about the weekend and making them really simple and catchy without too much effort. The main riff here’s got madly familiar vibes, and really doesn’t feel that dissimilar to something bands like Street Chant and Nevernudes are coming up with in the Supacity. There’s way more fun going on in Teen Sheikhs though, which is in no small part probably due to the lax nature of the track – it dawdles in it’s guitar solo and home straight (they’re probably lolling about their friend who actually cracked his head on the weekend), but once that Friday afternoon pre-party excitement riff rejoins the fray, the sloppiness is forgivable because hey, it’s Friday and there’s fun stuff happening. Remix to ignition hot ‘n fresh out tha kitchen yalls. By the way, thats actually their t-shirt design up there, just in case their rough ‘n tumble noisy good times didn’t reinforce the fun enough.
